Customer Service Representative

Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with a Transportation company in Coopersville, MI. We are seeking an experienced Customer Service/clerical team member to join our client's team. The Customer Service candidate will be receiving inbound calls, scheduling appointments, updating load changes, etc.

Candidates must have experience working with Microsoft Office (outlook and Excel are a must). High attention to detail for data entry. Candidates must work well in a team setting.

Customer Service Rep Responsibilities:

• Manage Assigned accounts from beginning to end.
• Pickup and Delivery Appointment Scheduling
• Updating and making changes to loads
• Assign all rates and miles to loads, assuring they are set up correctly
• Work with shippers/consignees/3PLs and making sure all is handled as needed
• Work with provided individuals in gaining new loads and growth

Customer Service Rep Qualifications:

• Highly proficient in computer and internet use.
• Proficient in basic knowledge of Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel
• Any transportation related experience is a plus, but not required.
• Fast learner, able to comprehend daily tasks with proper training.
• Comfortable to be in a fast-paced environment, while still being able to pay close attention to detail(s)
• Strong work ethic, and able to be at work on time, daily
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable and confident using and learning new technology as needed
• Highly organized, detail oriented with the ability to keep multiple projects moving efficiently
• Work well within team-oriented environment, while also able to solve problems independently
• Interest in working as part of a small growing company, with awareness about the opportunities and challenges that come with a highly adaptive environment
