Software Test Lead

The QTI Group is partnering with a Madison-based financial organization to hire a contract Software Testing Lead. This role will play a crucial part in the replacement and updating of a banking mobile application and will oversee and manage all testing activities, ensuring all quality standards are met.

Responsibilities:

• Develop testing plans and strategies
• Lead, mentor and collaborate with testing team as they uncover defects
• Partner with Business Analysts to ensure processes and standards align with best practices
• Ensure defects are cataloged and tracked appropriately
• Facilitate status meetings, working session and triage meetings with appropriate parties to update on testing efforts

Qualifications:

• Strong technical background, including previous leadership experience in a testing environment
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience with testing methodologies for mobile applications
• Experience in project management tools such as Jira, Wrike, etc…
• Agile (Scrum, Kanban) experience in a software development setting
