- Review power requirements for vehicle loads and alternator sizing
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in vehicle applications

- Understanding of complete vehicle electrical systems
- Ability to use Solidworks for CAD modelling
- Experience with MIL-SPEC electrical requirements and connectors

Electrical Design Engineer- Must have automotive design (Ford/GM a plus)
- MUST BE LOCAL to Shelby, NC. This will be a full-time, on-site position
- Electrical Engineering degree preferred, but not required if experience in the qualifications below
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in vehicle applications and with the qualifications below
- Understand OEM (Ford, GM, etc) CAN bus systems
- Have experience programming vehicle code parameter via OBD2 equipment
- Understand complete vehicle electrical systems in order to design and troubleshoot
- Ability to use Solidworks for CAD modelling of vehicle electrical system
- Understand/design wiring harnesses for vehicles
- Experience with MIL-SPEC electrical requirements and connectors
- Ability to design complete electrical vehicle architecture system to properly review power requirements for vehicle loads, alternator sizing, etc
- Experience with power management systems that contain batteries, alternators, power converter/invertor systems, etc
