Test Engineer II (Medical Device)

W2 only, no C2C or 3rd parties

A global medical device team needs a Test Engineering resource to support test method development and execution. Candidate should be well versed in Test Method Validation and Test Equipment qualifications. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, including some combination of DOE, capability analysis, gage R&R, ANOVA, 2-sample t-test, etc. Candidates with Medical Device experience preferred but not required.

Products: Implantable Pacemaker, implantable cardiac monitors, implantable cardioverter defibrillator and leads

Pay: $35-45/hr.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Understand testing requirements
2. Develop test methods
3. Validate and solve technical problems

Duties:

• Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.
• Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
• Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
• Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
• Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

Required Experience:

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience.
• Previous experience developing test methods is required
• Past experience with execution of Test Method Validations
• Past experience with equipment installation qualifications
