Responsibilities

  • Monitor patient for therapeutic response and intervene as appropriate.
  • Assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients.
  • Respond to emergent patient situations and ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation as required.

Qualifications

Required

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner Certificate issued by the Texas Medical Board
  • RRT certification issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care
  • 1 year critical care experience required
  • Must be able to work nights and rotating weekends

  • You will monitor patient for therapeutic response. You will notify provider and intervene as appropriate in the event of an unintended response.
  • You will assist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patients.
  • You will respond to emergent patient situations and ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitation as required.

What qualifications you will need:
