The Registered Nurse Medical Surgical Telemetry at Bakersfield Memorial Hospital is responsible for providing quality direct patient care to the pediatric to geriatric population. Responsibilities

  • Perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization.
  • Comply with the performance improvement plan, Joint Commission, and other licensing, accrediting, and regulatory agencies.
  • Support the Nurse Manager of the unit to manage and coordinate clinical operations.
  • Provide quality direct patient care to the pediatric to geriatric population.
  • Ensure all aspects of documentation, care planning, and patient care delivery meet regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a positive, interactive team milieu.
  • Facilitate an optimal environment to support orientation, competency validation, and patient care.

Qualifications

Required

  • Current CA RN License
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification
  • Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications
  • 1-2 years of previous experience or hired through the RN Versant Program

Preferred

  • Acute Experience
  • BSN

In addition we offer a beautiful Family Care and Birthing Center the Lauren Small Childrens Center including the areas only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Family Care Center a Level II NICU the Sarvanand Heart and Brain Center with Kern Countys first Bi-Plane Interventional Suite the Center for Wound Care and Hyperbarics and many more services. **Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ Current CA RN License BLS and ACLS certification required.

+ Education level necessary to obtain required licensure and certifications.

+ 1-2 years of previous experience or hired through the RN Versant Program.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Acute Experience Preferred.

+ BSN preferred.

**Pay Range**

$42.11 - $73.08 /hour
