**Overview:**

The Executive Associate Program is designed for 2nd year MBA students who seek to accelerate their career within M&T Bank. Program hires will undergo an immersive leadership experience designed to develop leadership competencies and strategic capabilities. Throughout the first year, the incoming cohort will be introduced to Program alumni, bank wide leadership, and collaborate with peers to drive change to support the vision and goals of the Bank.

**DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION:**

Institutional Client Services is a division of Wilmington Trust that includes two distinct businesses that align under the common goal of delivering customized solutions that meet the Bank's corporate and institutional clients' needs. These two businesses include Global Capital Markets (GCM) and Custody & Collateral Services (C&CS).

Throughout 22 strategic locations in the US and Europe, the **Global Capital Markets (GCM)** team provides trust and agency services to corporations, financial institutions, governments and investment funds active in capital market transactions. serves as a partner to senior and executive management to drive informed management and improvement of businesses, products, and customers and accountability for performance through the lens of profitability and return analysis.

**Custody & Collateral Services (C&CS)** is a provider of comprehensive trustee and custody solutions for financial advisors, investment consultants, corporations, labor unions, government, insurance companies, endowments, and foundations. The core services of this group are Collateral Management Services and Institutional Trust & Custody Services.

**Primary Responsibilities:**

This Executive Associate (EA) would report the ICS Chief Operating Officer responsible for Strategy & Business Planning for all business under Institutional Client Services (ICS). The EA will deliver on of performance objectives for the Strategy team. This individual will provide analysis, presentation materials, strategic frameworks and financial models to execute on:

+ Industry Trends - what's growing/slowing and why

+ Threat Assessment - what's changing in an industry (e.g. Competition, Regulation, Digitization, etc.]

+ Product Profitability - understanding the relative contributions of the ICS portfolio and what commands further investment

+ Strategic Planning - Improving ICS's 3-year strategic plan and setting/driving key results

+ Agile Methodology - Contribute and measure key data points that correspond to the business 3 year strategy

**Scope of Responsibilities:**

Perform project/management related assignments in field of expertise within the Executive Associate Program.

**Education and Experience Required:**

Completed MBA from an accredited business school.

Minimum two years professional, full time work experience.

Demonstrated leadership potential, as evidenced through previous work experience, extracurricular activities, or community involvement

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and critically analyze complex business challenges

Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines

The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation. The range listed above encompasses all geographic locations.
