  • Communicates delays and updates to dispatch effectively.
  • Immediately reports any damage or vehicle issues to the supervisor.
  • Helps in completing supply and equipment inventories each shift.
  • Refuels as per department protocol.
  • Maintains the unit in a constant state of readiness.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED upon hire.
  • Dispatch or transfer center experience upon hire.
  • American Heart Association BLS upon hire.
  • Current Florida Driver's License (no restrictions) upon hire.

**The role you'll contribute:**

A Under general supervision the Program Manager or Dispatch supervisor, the EMS Dispatcher is an allied health care team member who is responsible for providing indirect patient care. The EMS dispatcher is responsible for receiving all calls for transport both emergent and nonemergent. Upon receipt of the call the dispatcher must then triage the patient Adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Are responsible for the coordination of transfers into and within the AdventHealth system by ground.

Works in the Right CAD system - documenting time stamped events of the transfer process. Works jointly with the Shift Supervisor and/or ETC to make decisions of triage, outsourcing and resolution of transfer issues. Under general supervision the Ground Transport Dispatchers _._ Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Qualifications
