Corrugated Machine Operator Paying $25-28 Per Hour

**Job Title: Machine Operator**

**Job Description**

Working on Flexo, Folder, Gluer lines. Assisting operators with changeovers, setups, and startups of machinery. Loading and unloading machinery with materials. Following work orders to setup customer orders and specifications. Stacking orders and palletizing. Wrapping finished orders into bundles. Bundling finished cardboard and staging it for shipping. Manually loading and unloading machine. Using measurement devices for accuracy. Bundling cardboard into stacks of different numbers by customer order. Loading boxes onto the line. Machinery is automated and fast-paced and requires familiarity with machinery and speed.

**Hard Skills**

+ Machine Operating Experience

+ Experience with setups, changeovers

+ Ability to adjust machinery (speed, size, weights)

+ Corrugated/cartoning/packaging material operating experience

**Pay is 25-28$ an hour**

**2nd shift 1x**

**2pm-10pm**

**3rd shift role 2x**

**10pm-6am Sun-Thurs**

**Will train on 1st 6a-2p**

This is a Contract-to-Hire position

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Chicago, Illinois.

**Work Environment**

EXTREMELY automated work environment. Working with 2-3 other people, but once trained, works pretty independently. Very laid-back work environment/culture that focuses on quality over everything else. Need steel toe boots. Work attire is jeans or work pants and shirt. Safety glasses are provided.
