Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment.
  • Oversee and manage a growing Maintenance Team that covers 24 hours of our operation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance.
  • Complete work orders as assigned in a timely manner.
  • Troubleshoot and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.
  • Follow manuals, schematic diagrams, and blueprints using hand tools and test equipment to connect power supply wires to machines and equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and do basic repairs as needed.
  • Support and participate in Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Continuous Improvement Programs.
  • Available to work on required Saturday's.

Qualifications

Required

  • Five plus years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Prior experience in managing a team of mechanics.
  • Ability to use power tools such as grinder, drill, saw, and drill press.
  • Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and installing bearings, sprockets, and chains.
  • Ability to operate lift truck, scissor lift and aerial lifts; and eventually certified as a train the trainer.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Fully support and participate in Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Continuous Improvement Programs.
  • Available to work on required Saturday's.

Preferred

  • Previous experience operating a lift truck, scissor lift or aerial lift.
  • Knowledge of operation in PLC including troubleshooting and modifying.
  • Electrical certification.
  • Welding experience.

Our flooring underlayment products provide support, cushioning, and noise reduction under virtually any finished flooring material in your home or business. As a Maintenance Manager, you will have the opportunity to assist and plan projects that will improve current processes in the manufacturing of carpet underlay. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by ensuring that our facility's machines are operating safely and efficiently. The team you will be overseeing and working with collaborates to ensure that projects are completed in a timely manner, and values great workmanship.

So, what will you be doing as a Maintenance Manager?

+ Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

+ Five plus years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ Prior experience in managing a team of mechanics.

+ Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, and installing bearings, sprockets, and chains.

+ Ability to operate lift truck, scissor lift and aerial lifts; and eventually certified as a train the trainer.

+ Ability to diagnose and replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment.

+ Ability to follow manuals, schematic diagrams and blueprints using hand tools and test equipment to connect power supply wires to machines and equipment.

+ Maintain equipment and do basic repairs as needed.

+ Be meticulous, well-organized, have good on-time attendance, and be initiative-taking.

+ Must have own tools.

+ Fully support and participate in Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Continuous Improvement Programs.

+ Available to work on required Saturday's.

Things We Consider a Plus:

+ Previous experience operating a lift truck, scissor lift or aerial lift.

+ Knowledge of operation in PLC including troubleshooting and modifying.

+ Electrical certification.

+ Welding experience.
