Responsibilities

  • Develops code, scripts, and playbooks for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevSecOps, GitLab, OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), Terraform, and VMware vRealize Automation (vRA).
  • Provides support for setting up and maintaining IaC, DevSecOps, GitLab, OCP, Terraform, and vRA.
  • Assists with the setup and maintenance of Blue/Green deployment configuration.
  • Aids with the setup and maintenance of Terraform Enterprise running on OpenShift Container Platform.
  • Develops and administers container application deployments on Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform.
  • Develops and deploys Linux container images with Podman.
  • Works closely with development and operations teams to ensure security is integrated
  • Implements best practices for securing code, such as static code analysis, dynamic analysis, and vulnerability scanning.
  • Develops and maintains playbooks for incident response and handling security incidents.
  • Ensures the environment meets compliance requirements (like GDPR, HIPAA) and maintains security policies.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience writing code, scripts, and playbooks in a DevSecOps environment.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience with the following tools and software: Linux, Terraform Command Line Interface (CLI), Terraform Enterprise or Terraform Cloud, Git CLI, GitLab or GitHub, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or comparable CI/CD tooling, OpenShift Container Platform Administration and Development, Podman or Docker.
