As an Inside Sales Specialist at Tennant Company, you will partner with Strategic Account Managers to develop and execute market plans to maximize customer penetration and overall market share.   • Promote and sell the full Tennant solution to assigned customer base.
  • Increase sales and average order size through effective cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items.
  • Educate customers about the full Tennant solution in order to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with a variety of internal teams to ensure we are meeting/exceeding customer expectations relative to quality of products and services, order accuracy, on-time delivery, and issue resolution.
  • In conjunction with the Strategic Account Manager(s), drive specific programs for Strategic Accounts
  • Consistently meet or exceed annual sales plan.
  • Maintain Strategic Accounts database with relevant customer information.

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum five years of business experience in sales, inside sales and/or customer service
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with large National/Global customers, by phone and/or in person
  • Functional PC and PC application skills - SAP experience preferred
  • Track record of successful job performance

  • Bachelor's degree
