The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator at US Foods is responsible for creating and tracking purchase orders within the fleet maintenance software system, ordering and maintaining spare parts inventory, coordinating repairs with outside vendors, and ensuring work orders are properly completed. Responsibilities

  • Creates and tracks purchase orders within the fleet maintenance software system
  • Responsible for ordering and maintaining spare parts inventory
  • Coordinates the scheduling of repairs with outside vendors
  • Works closely with Mechanics and Fleet Manager to ensure work orders are properly completed
  • Greets all internal/external visitors, vendors, etc., entering the department
  • Answers and screens telephone calls and routes to appropriate departmental staff personnel
  • Drafts, updates, and revises correspondence as requested
  • If designated, assist with setting up appointments for Department Manager/Supervisor
  • Maintains and updates internal systems, databases, spreadsheets, logs, etc.
  • Monitors supply usage within the department and places orders when necessary
  • Maintains conference room calendars and schedules rooms
  • Attends department staff meetings, trainings, etc. as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
