  • Ensure all corrective actions are signed and sent to associates and that all documentation is backed up in their files.

**The Role at a glance:**

As the Staffing Manager for the New York region, you will oversee the complete lifecycle of staffing management for all business units. This includes recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, managing employee files, and offboarding. You will ensure that our staffing operations are efficient, our staff are well-trained, and our recruitment processes are streamlined across all locations in New York.

**What you'll be doing:**

**Recruitment & Hiring**

- Strategic Recruitment: Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various business units across New York.

- Hiring Events: Lead and manage hiring events at the beginning of each season, including local university and business organization outreach.

- Talent Sourcing: Identify and engage with potential candidates through various channels, including recruiting events and networking.

**Onboarding & Training**

- Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles. This includes facilitating orientation sessions and providing initial training materials.

- Training Programs: Work with the Director of Service and General Managers and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to different roles within the business units. Ensure that all staff are proficient in fine dining service standards and operational procedures.

**Employee Management**

- Employee Files: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files for all staff in New York, including documentation related to hiring, training, and performance.

- Offboarding: Manage the offboarding process for departing employees, including exit interviews and ensuring proper documentation and compliance.

- Corrective Action: Ensure all corrective actions are signed and sent to associates and that all documentation is backed up in their files.

**What we're looking for:**

- Availability: Must be available to work Monday through Friday, as well as weekends and overtime as business needs require.

- Experience: Proven experience in the catering industry, with a strong background in staffing management and training.

- Skills: Proficiency in fine dining service standards, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive, results-oriented approach.

- Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and engage with staff at all levels.

- Communication: Superior communication skills, with the ability to connect with and manage a diverse team.

**Where you'll be working:**

This position will be based in our office located at 530 7th Ave New York, NY.

**Compensation:**

The salary is $85k/yr.
