  • Assists customers in the selection of products according to their needs/requirements
  • Utilizes computer systems to assist with pricing, availability and alternate product selection
  • Receives orders and resolves pricing situations encountered during customer transactions using current sales policies
  • Works effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish company goals and to identify and resolve problems
  • Assists in resolving shipping discrepancies and errors, including obtaining proof of deliveries from the freight carrier and pulling necessary internal documents
  • Submits credit requests, as needed
  • Enters sample orders and follow up with the customer regarding the performance of the sample to obtain an order
  • Assists with processing and shipping sample orders, as needed
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized working environment
  • Conducts all functions, duties and responsibilities in a professional manner with a positive attitude and demeanor

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum 3 years of customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to multi-task

**CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE**

**1ST SHIFT**

**8am-5pm**

Cordova Safety Products, a division of Bunzl, is seeking a Customer Service Representative for our location in Memphis. The Customer Service Rep will answer customer inquiries, enter and successfully process orders (40-50 daily). This position will also be responsible for investigating customer inquiries and shipping issues, providing a successful resolution, and maintaining relationships with both internal and external customers with exceptional service.
