**Staff Software Engineer** at **Realtor.com** **®**

**Location:** **Austin, TX**

**What You'll Do:**

+ Lead the design and delivery of solutions for complex problem spaces within the squad.

+ Provide guidance on system architecture and design, ensuring scalability and reliability.

+ Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, Analysts, and Engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.

+ Mentor and support the development of team members, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.

+ Explore and prototype new technologies to drive innovation.

+ Take initiative and drive projects forward, working autonomously with minimal guidance.

**What You'll Bring:**

+ A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

+ 8+ years of experience in software development.

+ 3+ years of experience contributing to architecture and design.

+ Proficiency in software development, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt to the Realtor.com technology stack, including Python (FastAPI, Pydantic, NumPy, Pandas) and React.

+ Experience with Node.js.

+ Extensive experience working with both relational and non-relational databases.

+ Knowledge of AWS and database systems is a plus.

+ A track record of delivering high value to customers quickly and efficiently, with a focus on regular feedback and continuous improvement.

+ Strong commitment to software engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, and documentation.
