\nThe **HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER INPATIENT PHARMACY DEPARTMENT** is looking for an outstanding **PHARMACY TECHNICIAN 2 - CHEMO TECHNICIAN** to join our Inpatient Pharmacy team!
\n
\n **WORK SCHEDULE**
\n- 40 hours per week
\n- Rotating/Variable Shift
\n
\n **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:**
\n- Perform all duties of a Pharmacy Technician I.
\n- Check medications filled by other pharmacy technicians from Pyxis refill sheets for the entire hospital.
\n- Assist Pharmacy staff with prioritization of assigned tasks.
\n- Assist with the development and implementation of workflow improvements.
\n- Maintain knowledge and competency with narcotic vault procedures, processing, and documentation.
\n- Perform routine controlled substance inventories in all areas where controlled substances are stocked in the inpatient pharmacy as assigned.
\n- Billing duties as assigned.
\n
\n **REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:**
\nSix months of experience as a Pharmacy Technician 1 OR equivalent education/experience.
\n
\n **LEGAL REQUIREMENT:** State of Washington Pharmacy Technician certification.
\n
