  • Knowledge of Python, Django/Flask/ORM, Database technologies (RDS, Document, Graphs, Key Value).
  • Experience with JavaScript
  • Experience with VUE.JS
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms.
  • Experience with Unit testing frameworks.
  • Experience with API's and microservices.
  • Experience with Docker

Preferred

  • 1+ years' experience working in an agile environment.
  • Ability to think technically and analytically.

**Summary:**

The Associate Software Developer will work on prototyping and testing on AI solutions for assessment technology platforms. The intern will be working with a team of high-performing professionals and use industry best practices.

This position is part of the Pearson School Assessment team, which develops innovative assessment technology platforms. We are enriching Pearson's assessments with scalable AI capabilities.

**This position will be a limited term, temporary position from approximately September - December, 2024.**

**The Intern will:**

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the Colorado, California, Washington State, New York State and New York City laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

The minimum full-time salary range is between $20 - $25 per hour.
