Maintenance Technician- Electrician - Continental Shift (3rd Shift) 1 or more positions

• Show urgency in addressing the needs of the production and support departments within the division
• Perform preventative and proactive maintenance on facility and facility equipment
• Help drive continuous improvements in the business
• Operating powered tools, industrial powered equipment, and other maintenance equipment.
• Effectively communicating with upstream and downstream Team Members to address safety, quality and efficiency issues/concerns

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Commercial/Industrial Electrical Journeyman's card or 3 years completed Electrical Apprentice schooling

• Experience with preventative maintenance, inspection, and repair.
• Advanced knowledge in diagnoses of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic energy systems.
• Experience related to overhead crane inspection and repair.
• Experience related to powered industrial truck inspection and repair
