Responsibilities

  • Evaluates the effectiveness of programs and operations to provide guidance to management
  • Conducts organizational studies to specifically assess and analyze current states and management systems
  • Conducts surveys, focus groups, and other accepted techniques for data collection
  • Conducts gap analyses between current and targeted states
  • Delivers gap analyses findings and recommendations
  • Analyzes specific issues and identifies potential alternatives
  • Assists in preparation of reports, briefings, and documentation to support deliverables and work products
  • Supports strategic planning, governance, and policy team tasks
  • Supports various analytical tasks in support of Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) programs

Qualifications

Required

  • 8 years of federal program analysis experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in an associated discipline
  • Expert experience performing federal government large-scale program analysis
  • Expert experience evaluating federal government program effectiveness and efficiency
  • Excellent experience assessing current organization states and management systems
  • Excellent experience performing gap analysis
  • Excellent experience delivering documented findings and recommendations
  • Excellent experience compiling data through various collection techniques (e.g., surveys, focus groups)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability, judgment and problem analysis techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Effective in interpersonal relationship building and collaboration
  • Excellent experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
  • Experience supporting a federal contractor providing services to the federal government
  • Knowledge of federal civilian agencies (e.g., Department of Veterans Affairs (preferred), Defense Health Agency, Health and Human Services) (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Federal Civilian Public Trust
  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident that has lived in the United States for at least 3 years
