Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

Summary: The 2nd Shift Assembly Supervisor oversees the assembly team's activities during the evening shift. They ensure efficient production, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective communication.

Salary range from $52,000 to $78,000

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supervise and direct assembly activities in a manufacturing environment
• Manage a culturally diverse workforce
• Train and evaluate new and promoted employees, ensuring proper training in safe machine operation.
• Implement disciplinary actions as per company policies.
• Monitor quality and productivity, maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.
• Coordinate workflow, collaborate with other departments, and address any issues.
• Participate in company programs (e.g., communications, training, scheduling).
• Prepare reports, memos, and schedules.
• Ensure completion of daily process checks.
• Use Root Cause problem-solving techniques to address quality issues.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience in a leadership role.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of assembly processes and safety protocols.
• Experience with SAP preferred

• Technical Expertise: Understanding of assembly processes and machinery.
• Communication: Effective verbal and written communication.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to address quality issues and implement improvements.
• Highly productive with a strong sense of urgency and orientation to details, accuracy, and excellent outcomes. Results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage time and multiple priorities.
• Competent with use of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint for completing job duties
• Proficiency in English language skills, including effective verbal and written communication.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Significant amount of time is spent on factory floor. Personal protective safety equipment must be worn, and proper safety precautions must be observed while in manufacturing locations.

• Potential physical demands include, but are not limited to walking, standing, sitting, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Potential sensory demands include but are not limited to hearing and seeing.
