  • Coordinate and facilitate safety training courses
  • Assist/conducts surveys, evaluations, inspections, and investigations of incidents and activities as directed by supervision
  • Ensure the company's health and safety culture, policies and requirements are met
  • Manage and report all first-aid incidents, recordable incidents, and loss time incidents. Document and report as required by Shirley Contracting and OSHA
  • Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with customer and co-workers

Qualifications

Required

  • 5+ Years of safety engineering experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish language fluency
  • Related safety certifications - OSHA 30 (OSHA 510 and 500 preferred)
  • Proficient in computer and corresponding programs - Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must pass pre-employment physical/drug screening
