The Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning Leader at Baker Hughes Company is responsible for overseeing the entire Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) cycle, ensuring a balanced load based on shop capacity and aligning supply signals with overall demand. Responsibilities

  • Implementing the S&OP process including KPI's and S&OP actions / Measures, controls, and improves S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics
  • Working closely with commercial team and product line leaders to understand business trends, opportunities and demand forecast in order to manage 3-5 year forecasts for all product lines
  • Ensuring demand, supply, and other signals are aligned and communicated to the proper stakeholders
  • Assisting in creating a capacity planning tool to ensure volume and mix align with business needs
  • Reviewing and analyzing the forecast demand versus actual demand, understanding changes and trends
  • Collaborating with Sales and Project Managers to ensure that new product forecasts are included in the aggregate demand
  • Scheduling and leading monthly S&OP calls (sales forecast, capacity review, operations review, leadership review, etc.)
  • Assisting with the coordination, facilitation, and documentation of regularly scheduled planning meetings
  • Creating and drive continuous improvement of demand planning and S&OP processes

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or Logistics
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in S&OP or a supply chain oriented role within a manufacturing environment
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP system
  • Understanding of financial systems and the key drivers within the manufacturing environment
  • Impressive analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively and balance priorities in an ever changing, fast-moving, time-sensitive environment
