The Nursing Manager at Banner Personnel Service, Inc. is responsible for planning and managing the school health program in collaboration with medical authorities and school leaders. - Plan school health program in collaboration with medical authorities and school leaders.
- Develop policies and procedures for the school health programs.
- Monitor compliance of the school's health programs with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with other child-support agencies.
- Provide medical examinations and review findings to evaluate health status of student and progress of the program.
- Provide direct supervision and leadership of all nurses and health team.
- Oversee services and ensure proper documentation.
- Train, coach, and develop nurses individually and as a team.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and evaluation process of nursing and other health related staff.
- Oversee health based 504's, IEP's and health plans and meet compliance requirements related to these plans.
Qualifications
Required
- Must have a current School Nurse certification in compliance with State/District Requirements (for IL a PEL with a School Nurse Endorsement)
- A minimum of 3 years recent experience as a school nurse with demonstrated leadership
