Montgomery Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for night shifts to oversee and supervise assigned unit activities and staff assignments.   • Identifies and responds appropriately and timely to patient needs
  • Monitors, observes, and documents vital signs, treatments administered, and patient responses
  • Administers medications and treatments as needed
  • Communicates and directs services or any plan/concerns/information to appropriate team members, resident, family, or medical staff
  • Identifies and follows disciplinary action as stated in policy
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary team, physicians, and other vendors/services
  • Performs RN assessment to resident's post incidents or change in condition
  • Leads and directs emergency situations (Fire, Elopement, etc.)
  • Maintains accurate nursing report, staffing sheets, and census roster

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing
  • Current and good standing RN License in the State of New York
  • Experience with geriatric/short term rehab/Alzheimer's patients is desirable
  • Progressive nursing experience, supervisory experience preferred
  • Dedicated to providing extraordinary, quality, compassionate care to each resident
  • Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, and elderly
  • Have patience and willingness to assist any residents and co-workers
  • Have excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, and organization skills
  • Able to work well under pressure, flexible, and will work harmoniously with all staff
