  • Operate all fixed and mobile equipment in the department.
  • Ensure timely processing of patients, prioritizing emergent procedures.
  • Critique radiographs to ensure high-quality images.
  • Advise other departments regarding radiographic procedures as necessary.
  • Prepare, position, and perform routine and special x-ray examinations.
  • Maintain radiation protection standards for personnel and patients.

Qualifications

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited school for Radiologic Technology
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, or recognized equivalent

  • BLS/CPR Required
  • Knowledge of computer systems
  • Manages hospital resources appropriately
