As a Senior Maintenance Technician at McKesson, you will be responsible for the maintenance, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of various electronic and electro-mechanical systems in a distribution center environment.   • Self-starter in new system and equipment learning and training.
  • Ability to lead and train other facilities assistants.
  • Communicate with and maintain relationships with vendors.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Experience with troubleshooting control systems ranging from relay logic to microprocessor-based controls.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
  • Excellent understanding of electrical and mechanical systems including power feeders, transformers, generators, switchgear, AC/DC drives, PLCs, UPS systems, compressors, strappers air handling units, and CRAC units.
  • At least 2 years in mechanical/HVAC, electrical, or a combination of both.
  • Ability to learn quickly and address issues as they arise during normal working hours or when on call.
  • Applicants must be flexible with work hours and days, including holidays and short-notice call-in.
  • Must be able to work Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm until the new facility is launched.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of the NEC and some light electrical construction experience.
  • Windows XP/Windows 7 and work order experience.
  • Experience with LOTO and OSHA regulations.
  • Ability to lead, communicate, and motivate team members.
  • Ability to communicate effectively between facilities team, vendors, operations, and IT.
  • Ability to communicate intelligently and effectively with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on facility systems.
  • Associate degree, trade school certification, or other verifiable training in a relevant technical field.

Compensation: This role is budgeted for $29.37 - $36.71/hr. + $2.00 Shift Differential.

Shifts Details: Weekend Shift - Friday – Monday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm, or until complete (All applicants must have the flexibility to work short notice call-in)

Must be able to work Monday- Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm until the new facility is launched.
