Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's degree or certification from a technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Radiography Certification and Registration (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Vascular Interventional Radiography Certification and Registration (VI) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Within 24 months of hire.
  • CPR - American Heart Association
  • Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
  • Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
  • Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate

Preferred

  • Prior experience working as an Interventional Radiology Technologist

**GENERAL OVERVIEW:**

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

Minimum

+ Associate's degree or certification from a technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Vascular Interventional Radiography Certification and Registration (VI) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Within 24 months of hire. Employees in an Interventional Radiology Technologist role (prior to September 1, 2024) who do not have a VI certification are not required to obtain them; employees in an Interventional Radiology Technologist role with existing VI certification are required to maintain active certifications. Employees hired or transferred into the Interventional Radiology Technologist role after September 1, 2024, are also required to maintain active certifications

+ CPR - American Heart Association
