Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least one year of experience working in the healthcare industry.
  • At least one year of experience working in a customer service related field.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to be professionally assertive.
  • General knowledge of credentialing processes, terminology and TJC standards.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, including process improvement and problem resolution.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and ability to maintain accuracy while meeting deadlines and production requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to quality improvement.
  • Familiarity with personal computers and Windows.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of HIPAA and Joint Commission standards.
  • Experience working specifically with patient health records.
  • Familiarity and ability to work around different time zones within US.
  • Experience with release of information (ROI) and HIPPA.
  • Technologically Proficient.
  • Advanced query skills for purpose of data analysis to help department make informed decisions.
  • Advanced report building skills to create customized reports that use technical details to meet specific business needs.
