The Equipment Aide at UPMC is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment by monitoring all supplies and equipment in an assigned area. - Responsible for accurate record keeping and quality checks of equipment.
- Identify needed repairs, maintenance, and cleaning of unit specific equipment/environment according to procedures.
- Enter online requests for repairs to facilities and keep accurate records of maintenance performed.
- Assist with assigned quality monitoring including maintaining refrigerator and temperature logs and point of care testing.
- Notify appropriate personnel when respective quality indicators are out of normal range.
- Order unit specific supplies/equipment and ensures that adequate amounts are available on the unit.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED or one year previous job experience required in lieu of High School Diploma/GED.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to use Equipment Aide equipment.
Preferred
- Prior job experience preferred.

+ Prior job experience preferred.

+ Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
+ Act 33 with renewal
+ Act 34 with renewal
+ Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
