Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma/equivalent.
  • One year of medical assistant experience.

Preferred

  • Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program or US Military medical services training program.
  • Experience in a high volume outpatient setting with a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, rooming patients, and procedural experience.

**MISSION STATEMENT**

**SUMMARY**

The primary purpose of the Medical Assistant position is to acts as lead technical assistant in preparing patients for medical visits and procedures.

**The ideal candidate will be a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with at least one year of Medical Assistant experience. Prefer Medical Assistants that have worked in a high volume outpatient setting with a comprehensive understanding of medical terminology, rooming patients, and procedural experience.**

**KEY FUNCTIONS**
