Qualifications

Required

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Basic computer skills (Office or Word)
  • 3.5+ years of facility technician or construction field experience
  • 1.5+ years of maintenance with HVAC troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of 277 voltage, Air handling experience and changing filters
  • Usage of hand tools, power tools, gauges, and electrical testing devices
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred

  • EPA Certification
  • Direct Hospital or large scale Hotel/building maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of the city of Austin Ammendments to the code
  • Degree from Trade School
  • Veterans-Navy/Army

**Hospital Maintenance Engineer Needed**

**Description:**

The maintenance engineer complies with OSHA, and responds to emergency situations to ensure employee, patient and facility safety. Candidates will be responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of the hospital equipment and building components.

With little supervision the candidates will diagnose mechanical problems, offer solutions, and act to ensure the saftey, care, and comfort of the staff and patients.

M-F and rotating Weekends 6AM-4PM OR 7AM-5PM
