Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of six (6) months reach truck experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.
  • Must reside within the immediate area of Roanoke (50 miles) for consideration.

Preferred

  • Six (6) months forklift experience

Eaton's EPG CHD EP Americas division is currently seeking a Receiving Team Member - 1st Shift to join our team in Roanoke, VA. The core hours are 7:00am to 3:30 pm. The hourly rate for this position is $20.08 per hour.

**What you'll do:**

Receivers are responsible for verifying, handling, sorting incoming shipments. Receivers will utilize handheld RF (Radio Frequency) scanners and powered industrial forklifts to transport and accurately place both individual cases and full pallets of material in the system designated locations. Team members must maintain a safe work environment while meeting both quality productivity standards.

+ Must be willing to operate multiple powered industrial equipment such as stand up/sit down forklifts, and the electric pallet jack.

+ Use RF units to scan product and location barcodes.

+ Relocate incoming shipments to pre-identified location.

**Basic (Required) Qualifications:**

+ A minimum of six (6) months reach truck experience.

+ High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.

+ Authorized to work in the United States without Company sponsorship.

+ No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Roanoke (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Six (6) months forklift experience

**Skills:**

**Knowledge:**

+ English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

+ Experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc...

+ Experience using SAP and WMS (Warehouse Management System) ERP (Enterprise Resourse Planning) systems.

+ Production and Processing - Awareness of techniques for maximizing the effective manufacturing and production processes including quality control for the distribution of goods.
