**Job Title: Housekeeping**

**Job Description**

Performs all routine, terminal, and isolation cleaning on a timely basis, which includes high/low dusting, wall/ceiling/vent/lighting cleaning, cleaning of restroom facilities, and floor care. Responsible for removing and transporting trash and medical infectious waste, as well as moving furniture and other equipment. Will clean various areas including emergency rooms, operating rooms, offices, public bathrooms, clinics, nurses stations, and exam rooms.

**Hard Skills**

+ Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

+ Ability to stand for 8 hours

+ Ability to read, write, speak, hear and comprehend English

**Soft Skills**

+ Stable work history, with positions held for at least 6 months

**Job Type**

This is a contract position with a duration of 2 Year(s).

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin.

**Work Environment**

Locations include Kenosha Medical Center and St. Catherine's in Kenosha, WI. The role involves working with and/or near patients and hospital staff, frequent exposure to medical infectious waste, frequent pushing, pulling, and transporting of heavy objects, equipment, and furniture. Continuous physical position changes are required to accommodate the cleaning of environmental surfaces. The role may occasionally require climbing stepladders, frequent kneeling and stooping, and constant repetitive hand/arm motions.
