Hours: 8 AM – 4 PM Flexibility to work occasional overtime

Position Overview:
A private couple is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support the Housekeeper Manager in maintaining a newly remodeled luxury high-end townhouse in the Upper East Side
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a “can-do” attitude and experience working in a formal private home setting
Prior experience with high-net-worth families and individuals is ideal.
Responsibilities:
- General Housekeeping: Perform daily cleaning and organization of all areas in the home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, common areas, and kitchen.
- Laundry & Wardrobe Care: Manage laundry duties, including washing, ironing, folding, and wardrobe maintenance.
- Event Support & Service: Assist with dinner service, beverage service, and special event preparation, ensuring guests receive impeccable service.
- Coordination with Chef: Collaborate with the Chef to coordinate meal services, table settings, and event setup and breakdown.
- Pet Care: Assist with light pet care, including feeding, walking, and ensuring the dog’s areas are kept clean and tidy.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Housekeeper and the House Manager/Personal Assistant to maintain a well-organized and smoothly run household.
- Supply Management: Monitor and restock household supplies, informing the House Manager/Personal Assistant when items need replenishing.
- Special Projects: Assist with deep cleaning, seasonal tasks, and special projects as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of related work experience in a private residence.
- Utmost sense of confidentiality and discretion.
- Must be extremely tech-savvy, and comfortable with computers and phones.
- Excellent references from current and previous employers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (English).
- Professional, polished, and poised at all times.
- Hands-on approach with a positive attitude, high energy, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
- Flexible schedule with availability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Valid US work authorization.
