Union Tank Car Company is seeking a Shop Operations Clerk at our full-service rail tank car repair shop. The Company's regulatory, engineering and commercial expertise make UTLX the preferred source of railcars and services for many of its customers. Responsibilities

Reporting to the Office Manager, the Shop Operations Clerk is responsible for backing up and assisting office functions as required to ensure efficient shop operations. Primary responsibilities and/or essential functions include, but are not limited to:
  • Receive cars - OTMA Approvals - Last Contents
  • Dispo request and Creation of Waybills
  • Enter and update scheduled release date's (SRD)
