Full Job Description

Platte River Power Authority offers a wide variety of operational, technical and professional experiences. Interns gain hands-on experience in their curriculum, directly collaborate with co-workers and face a unique set of real projects and challenges.

Internships are offered as one of the following options:

1. 40 hours per week for three months (typically over the summer)

2. Up to 29 hours a week for up to nine months

Eligibility criteria:
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Platte River cannot offer employment to individuals with current or future sponsorship needs (e.g. H1B visa, OPT/CPT).
  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university at the start of the internship.
    • Internships are regularly designed as undergraduate opportunities for junior and senior-year students; recent graduates may be considered.
  • Interns are responsible for arranging and funding their own lodging and transportation. While the internship is paid, housing and travel expenses are not covered by the program.
