General Purpose of the Job:
Provides appropriate individualized instruction to meet the needs of students according to their Individualized Family Service Plans and Individualized Education Plan. This will require that considerable emphasis be placed in coordination with other disciplines involved with the student's program. Responsible for the evaluation and treatment of those students who have been referred by CSE/SPSE/EI.
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree and Master's of Science degree from a four-year college required.
Some job experience preferred.
Must have NYS Certification as a Teacher of the Blind/Partially Sighted.
