FNA Group, a leading manufacturer of consumer and industrial pressure washers and other outdoor power equipment, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to focus on domestic shipments. This role involves arranging and scheduling truckload and import container shipments, learning and managing transportation management systems, understanding export documentation, and assisting with various logistics tasks. Responsibilities

  • Arrange and schedule into dock calendar truckload shipments to various warehouses.
  • Arrange and schedule into dock calendar import container shipments to various warehouses.
  • Learn Transportation Management System (TMS) process for various large customers and manage processing shipments in the TMS systems.
  • Gain understanding of ALL routing guides.
  • Understand and create export documentation.
  • Track status of import containers and update reports daily.
  • Assist with quoting and arranging domestic truckload shipments (Outbound, Inbound and Transfers).
  • Arrange call tags and return LTL shipments for RMA requests.
  • File freight claims and provide updates for shipments with small package, LTL and truckload providers.
  • Learn material transfer process to assist in moving materials between various warehouses.
  • Confirm departure of all transfer loads.
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

Required

  • Competent with MS Excel and Microsoft Office/Outlook.
  • Strong math skills for truckload planning.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and with diverse groups.
  • Plan, organize and meet deadlines and schedules.
  • Ability to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common shipping documentation requirements.
  • High School diploma or GED.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Track & Trace software, or any load planning software is helpful but not required.
  • Any additional education, training or certifications is a plus.
