Qualifications

Required

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably high volume and cellular.
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Technical or Bachelors' Degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years previous supervisory experience in a production setting.
  • Experience with Lean principles and exposure to Kaizen and continuous improvement events is preferred.
  • Experience in problem solving, communication and conflict resolution.
  • High degree of comfort with computer usage.
  • Able to read, write and speak English.
  • Able to stand 10-12 hours per day, lift, push, pull up to 40 pounds frequently.
  • Able to see, hear and comprehend in a noisy environment.
  • Able to tolerate temperature ranges of 40 - 90 degrees F.
  • Able to work other shifts and/or weekend hours.

Location & Position Overview

The Minnesota Production Facility (MNPF) is an Acuity Brands' assembly manufacturing site in the USA. The facility is in Winona, MN where you can enjoy boating, canoeing, fishing, hiking, camping, and picnicking in the surrounding parks including Lake and Garvin Height Parks. You can also visit a local sporting event at Winona State College or make the short 30-minute drive to The University of Wisconsin.

We are seeking a Production Supervisor with experience motivating others while driving improvement in a manufacturing environment.
