Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC) is seeking a full-time, full-year Infant Teacher for our Danbury Early Learning Programs. The role involves planning and implementing activities to promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of infants as they transition into toddlers as part of our Early Head Start Program. - Support 8 students alongside a co-teacher and receive support throughout the day from an aide.
- Receive support for students and families from a classroom aid and a Family Advocate.
- Benefit from curriculum support and coaching from education coaches.
- Document observations in Teaching Strategies Gold to with Creative Curriculum.
- Enhance language development of infants and toddlers through the use of LENA (Language ENvironment Analysis) technology.
- Communicate child routines with parents through Procare Software and Remind messaging.
Qualifications
Required
- CDA Certification or 12 College Credits in Early Childhood Education
Preferred
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or Psychology
- Bilingual candidates
- Teaching experience: 1 year
- Childcare experience: 1 year

- Early Head Start (EHS) Teachers qualitatively enhance language development of infants and toddlers through the use of LENA (Language ENvironment Analysis) technology.

Requirements
License/Certification:
- CDA Certification or 12 College Credits in Early Childhood Education (Required)
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or Psychology (Preferred)
- Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged.
Experience:
- Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
