  • Basic knowledge of standard office procedures and the ability to follow instructions
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Preferred

  • Desired proficiency using military-related medical systems

We are looking for a MEDICAL ASSISTANT / CASE COORDINATOR for a full-time position at Niantic, CT (Monday to Friday from 08:00 am to 4:30 pm).

Summary

The Medical Assistant / Case Coordinator assists with all aspects of case management initiatives and procedures, facilitating case management initiatives and deployment operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Coordinate soldier treatment plans with appropriate medical facilities, manage soldier's care, and track soldier's medical status.
  • Assist soldiers with their medical readiness, including ensuring referrals, tracking appointments, and ensuring documentation is adequately registered in medical records.
  • Assist case management staff following regulatory guidance for a soldier's care.
  • Assume responsibility for overall quality assurance and timeliness of delivery for all work performed.

Requirements
