  • Creating a club environment that facilitates growth and achievement in children.
  • Supervising and encouraging youth members to participate in a variety of program areas and activities.
  • Providing guidance to members to assist them in making appropriate choices in educational, personal, physical, social, emotional, vocational, and spiritual needs.
  • Effectively communicating standards of our program and maintaining experience areas safe, diligently sanitized, and well maintained within state guidelines.
  • Documenting reporting data, including attendance and program participation on a daily basis.
  • Maintaining a healthy and safe environment, ensuring facilities, equipment, and supplies are maintained.

Qualifications

Required

  • Ability to anticipate, identify and solve practical problems.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to accurately complete all required paperwork.
  • Ability to professionally handle and/or get help to resolve conflict.
  • Ability to follow instructions as given and/or directed by supervisor.

Full Job Description

Site Placement: Can change

Position: Part-time Monday-Friday 2:00PM-7:00PM during the school year, and 7:30am-5:30pm Monday- Thursday for summer.

General Overview:

Responsible for planning, delivering, and overseeing fun, meaningful and compelling program experiences for school-age youth members. Program experiences include sports/athletics, creative arts, technology, education based, and character building and other hands-on activities based on YDP background, interests, and skills.

  • Documenting reporting data, including attendance and program participation on a daily basis.
