  • Prepare and file legal documents with the court, ensuring compliance with filing deadlines and local court rules

  • Utilize legal software to track case progress, deadlines, and important details

Responsibilities

Attorney Assistance: Provide general legal support to attorneys, including preparation for meetings, hearings, and other legal proceedings
Legal documents: Work independently and assist in the preparation of Bills of Particulars, Summonses and Complaints, and other Litigation documents. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and have excellent writing skills
• Must be familiar with eFiling, eLaw, and eTrack
Case Management: Organize and manage case files with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all documents, evidence, and correspondence are properly filed and maintained
Client Communication: Engage with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and ensure they have a clear understanding of the legal process
Discovery Support: Facilitate the discovery process by drafting and responding to requests for documents and other tasks
Court Filings: Prepare and file legal documents with the court, ensuring compliance with filing deadlines and local court rules
Trial Preparation: Help prepare for trial by organizing exhibits, coordinating witness schedules, and supporting attorneys during proceedings
