Qualifications

  • Attention to detail when performing tasks.
  • Sound problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Result oriented with a high commitment level.
  • Develop and manage priorities to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, good organizational abilities.
  • Ability to actively participate in various teams and initiatives.
  • Ability to support efforts for continuous improvements in process efficiency and cost reduction.

Full Job Description

Position Title: Mechanical Engineering Intern

Department: Engineering

Location: Fenton, MO

Reports To: Engineering Manager

Classification: Hourly - Non-Exempt

(Spring 2025 and Fall 2025)

Position Summary:

The Engineering Intern is primarily responsible for supporting the Product Engineering group with document control, CAD drawing, design work, production testing and other engineering related tasks. Additionally, the Intern will be supporting the Manufacturing Engineering group with CAD and design work, production tooling and fixtures, and production equipment testing. Intern will also assist the Quality Engineering group as needed to perform Root Cause Analysis, product and process improvements, and ongoing product reliability testing.

Essential Job Duties:
