Qualifications

Required

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) required.
  • Completion of a medical assistant diploma or certification from an accredited vocational institution, or completion of a medical assisting course at a community college is preferred.
  • One year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant preferred.
  • Documented evidence of completion of an externship in a medical office is desirable.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in tasks such as taking vital signs, venipuncture, and injections is required.

  • Proficient in performing medical assistance tasks accurately and appropriately.

Job Overview: Join out team as a Medical Assistant. The Medical Assistant functions as a pivotal member of the patient care team performing medical assisting duties.
