Your Role on Our Team

The Software Engineer II will work as a member of an agile software development team that is responsible for building and maintaining custom web applications for Milwaukee Tool. The Software Engineer II will participate in agile ceremonies and help facilitate good practices throughout the SDLC.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

• Hands on design and development of applications using technologies such as .NET/React/React Native.
• Work as a member of an agile software development team
• Enhance and support existing applications
• Collaborate with lead developers and analysts to understand requirements and develop solutions.
• Advocate for adherence to standards on the development team
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3 or more years of work experience in software development or an IT related position.
• 3 or more years of professional development experience.

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

• .NET Core
• SQL
• NoSQL
• Terraform
• React or similar JavaScript framework
• Azure/Cloud Experience
• Git/other source control
• UI/Frontend Background
• Object-oriented and relational database development skills.
• Strong professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with agile methodologies.
