The Travel Nurse RN - Telemetry at San Dimas Community Hospital is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role involves direct patient care within the scope of practice, directing and guiding patient/family teaching, and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Telemetry Unit. The nurse will also communicate with physicians about changes in patients' clinical conditions.

  • Directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients.
  • Communicate with the physician about changes in the patients' clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies, and symptomatology.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.

Qualifications

Required

  • Current and valid state RN License.
  • BLS certification.
  • ACLS certification.

Preferred

  • Ventilator Management experience.
  • COVID vaccination/boosters.
