  • Candidates that are not MRI registered may be required to complete the Medical Imaging Consultants (MIC) MRI Cross-Trainer dependent on the level of experience.
  • Prefer ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registered technologist.
  • Must pass the ARRT or ARMRIT advanced examination for MRI certification within one year of employment as a MRI Technologist.
  • Must have current BLS certification.

Schedule: Thurs-Sun 6:30a-5p
Performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures for diagnosis and treatment requiring independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Prefer experienced MRI Technologists.
Prefer satisfactory completion of an accredited MRI program with advanced MRI certification or registry eligible for MRI certification.
Prefer at least one year of experience within the Radiology or MRI department with knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy a plus.
Candidates that are not MRI registered may be required to complete the Medical Imaging Consultants (MIC) MRI Cross-Trainer dependent on the level of experience.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation: Employees in this position:
Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose
NOTE:
A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job. Please indicate the appropriate operator designation on the Request for Personnel (RFP) form at the time a RFP is submitted to post the position.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Prefer ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT registered technologist.
