- Certification Details
- - BLS - Basic Life Support
- - ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- - ARRT required (ARRT advanced preferred)
- - Fluoro Permit preferred
- Flu vaccine required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only.
- Job Details
- Position / Specialty: Interventional Radiology Tech
- These techs must have intimate knowledge of procedures such as g-tube placement, central line, chemo, etc. The IR/INR labs require the techs to be licensed RAD techs.
- Guaranteed Hours: Contracted hours guaranteed.
- Job Requirements
- Years of experience REQ: 2 years
- First-timers accepted: Yes
- Pending License accepted: No – Florida State or compact license required at time of submission
- X-ray experience required
- Cardiac Stent Placement experience required
- G-tube placement, central line, chemo experience required
- PACS experience required
- Portables, contrast experience required
- Xper, Phillips experience required
- Community Hospital and Outpatient experience required
- ER and Trauma Level I Experience required
- Epic experience preferred
- Schedule Information
- Shift: 4x10 Days;
- Open to accommodating block schedule? TBD by unit’s needs.
- Weekend REQ: Yes - Weekend call will start on their first week, then will be on an every-other weekend basis.
- Holidays REQ: Yes
- Is on-call REQ? Yes - Call commitment is approximately 33% of the month.
- Weekday call starts generally by 17:45 till 07:15 the next morning.
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes - TBD by unit's needs. May be asked to float to sister facilities.
